Common Ground, 2019 - 2020
Following the life and activities of young people around the perimeter of the US military base in a suburban area of Madrid, Spain.
Apart from being a political symbol of the past, from 1950 to 1990 the base had a big influence in shaping youth culture in Madrid mostly by the music and lifestyle brought in by American soldiers.
The project explores the surrounding area of the base, as a common ground to portray the present life and diversity of youth in this Spanish suburb in relation to its cultural influences.
